Waipu Cove, Northland

Waipu Cove is a pretty well-kept secret in New Zealand.

It has pristine sandy beaches to die for, but less of the crowds you get at other beaches.

This shot was taken during an afternoon walk down the beach. Storm clouds were looming and I thought there was a good chance of me getting soaked by a dark raincloud, but instead an epic full rainbow appeared out of the sea, creating an arch right over the beach.
